| Uhl trained in woodworking, and completed his cabinet-making apprenticeship in Sonthofen, Bavaria, Germany at Schreinerei Himmelsbach.
His work has been featured in Baltimore Magazine's 1993 Interior Design Awards Issue, in conjunction with the American Society of Interior Designers. |

Maas studied fine woodworking and cabinet-making in Kleve-Materborn, northern Germany. He completed his apprenticeship program at Alois Vehreschild.
In 1993, Maas received a Citation of Excellence from Maryland Governor William Donald Schaffer, for outstanding craftsmanship. In addition, he received a craftsmanship award from Building Congress and Exchange. |
